Port development feasibility study - Haiti

Port development feasibility study - Haiti

The project was a feasibility study on the development of a deep water port in the northern part of Haiti (Fort Liberté). The future port was located just inside a rocky deep water bay, which considerably reduced the need for breakwaters and would be mainly used as container hub. The study had the following scope: traffic forecast, port master plan, technical feasibility (quay wall design, dredging,…), site surveys (geotechnical, topography, bathymetry), BOQ, environmental impact analysis, financial viability and financial modeling, hinterland development.
